My Caring Doctors Medical Center was established in 2003 to provide personalized patient-centered care. Choosing a primary care doctor is the most critical step toward healthcare management. Sometimes called a “doctor’s doctor,” “an internist,” or “doctor of internal medicine,” a primary care physician is proficient in diagnosing, treating, and coordinating your healthcare needs. As a front-line doctor, your primary care physician is your champion for all healthcare needs, such as getting treatment in a hospital or coordinating care with your insurance and other healthcare professionals like specialists, physical therapists, radiology centers, and pharmacies.​

Dr. Smitha Manoj is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician specializing in obesity medicine. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Manoj completed her residency training at Columbia University-affiliated Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. She was appointed Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine training program at Overlook. She has been in practice in the Central Jersey area since 2001. She also serves on the board of several charities and civic organizations.

​Dr. Manoj is also a certified Civil Surgeon who performs immigration physicals. The office offers all vaccinations required for these physicals.

​Additionally, Dr. Manoj has her own medical weight loss clinic. Obesity affects 1 in 4 people across the country and is associated with many other diseases like diabetes mellites, heart disease, sleep apnea, heart failure, infertility, and cancer. She provides free consultations for patients interested in achieving a healthy weight. Services offered through the weight loss clinic include individualized diet plans and prescription medications as needed.

Dr. Manoj believes in spending time with her patients to understand their problems and suggest suitable treatment plans. The office manager, Ellen, has been with the practice for over 13 years. She is a warm, caring person who takes pride in making every patient comfortable and welcome from the first interaction. Exit 127 if approaching from the South; Exit 129 if approaching from the North. From either of these approaches, exit Route 287 North. Take Exit 2A to Route 27 North. Bridgepointe is to your left and can be seen from the exit ramp. Go to the first light, make a left, our office complex driveway entrance is immediately on the left. We are in Building F, Suite 240.

From Route 287 South:

Take the Metuchen Exit (look for it after Exit 4). Turn left on to New Durham Road/Route 501 at the light. Travel for about 8/10 of a mile to the first traffic light. Turn right to Bridge Street. Follow Bridge Street for two blocks over the railroad bridge. The office complex driveway is on your right. We are in Building F, Suite 240.

From Route 287 North:

Take Exit 2A at Route 27 North. Bridgepointe is to your left and can be seen from the exit ramp. Proceed to the first light and make a left; the office complex driveway entrance is immediately on the left. We are in Building F, Suite 240.
