Dr. Nancy Allegar’s aspiration for a career in medicine started at Rutgers College and led to clinical research in the pharmaceutical industry. Her work played a role in the development of the first clinically viable monoclonal antibody, Orthoclone OKT3. This early success fueled her passion for making a difference in the medical field.
Dr. Allegar pursued her medical education at the University of Medicine Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers Medical School – After graduation, her commitment to learning and growth led her to post-graduate training in pharmaceutical research, pulmonary medicine, and internal medicine. Dr. Allegar focused on internal medicine and obtained board certification in internal medicine. Dr. Allegar maintains a tireless commitment to providing exceptional and personalized care for her patients.
